Facebook Ad image rules suck, but….

By: | Tags: | Comments: 0

When I’m talking to clients about Facebook adverts, most want to get as much information into the image that goes with the advert as possible, however Facebook limit the reach of your ads (or worse, it won’t run at all) if the image has too much text in it, it’s necessary to change your thinking when you (or your design team) are creating images for Facebook ads. If you’re running ads that will have a link (to a sales page, opt-in form or specific link on your website), the image […]

Is Facebook becoming pay to play for businesses?

By: | Tags: | Comments: 0

If you’ve read that Facebook will become a pay to play platform due to the news of moving page posts to a new Explore feed (which is currently being tested in Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Serbia, Bolivia, Guatemala, and Cambodia) – please note that this only applies to PUBLISHERS right now in those countries, for example newspapers, viral meme sites etc., and I believe the publisher posts in the new explore feed will roll out to other countries before it affects business pages. I’ve often spoken about my belief that eventually that […]
